This class of 7th graders will be the first class that their entire life they have on average spent 5 hours a day either playing video games, surfing the web, and/or watching tv.
Wow... hours! That's out of control! I just can't believe that. Where did you get that information? Did you do a surveymonkey.com or do they just tell you what they do? I know for me I have a problem tryin to get my studnets to do actual research. I find that they are always googling things and they find alot of wrong information. Does your 7th graders do the same?
As part of the district wellness team we had a speaker from the state come in she shared the amount of time spent with us. I do know the information was by state. Maybe in states with better weather this is not the case. In Oregon that didn't suprise me. Where did you get that information?
